About Vestibular Well
Vestibular Well explains vertigo, dizziness and balance disorders to adults dealing with them: what BPPV actually is, whether the maneuver your doctor mentioned is the same one you read about online, which exercises are safe to try at home and which ones are not. We started this site because so much of what shows up in a search for “vertigo” is either alarmist or trying to sell something before it has explained anything.
What we do
We write plain-language guides on the common causes of vertigo and dizziness — BPPV, Ménière’s disease, vestibular neuritis, vestibular migraine, cervicogenic dizziness — and on the exercises and lifestyle habits that have real evidence behind them. Where a page includes an affiliate link, we say so, and we say so before you click it.
What we don’t do
We don’t diagnose. We don’t invent expert reviewers. We don’t tell you a product will “cure” your vertigo. If your situation sounds like it needs a doctor or a vestibular-trained physical therapist, we say that too — see our medical disclaimer.
Our editorial team
Vestibular Well is written and edited by a small team of health content editors. None of us is a physician; we are researchers and writers who fact-check against sources like the Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA), NHS and NIH/MedlinePlus. Read more in our editorial policy.
